Old VS New (football shirts)

For todays post I will review an old arsenal shirt (home 1996) and a new arsenal shirt (2010 away).
Here are my criteria: -comfort   -for kickoff   -style

So let's start with the old shirt.

Comfort:  This shirt has a nice loose and light fit. You can feel almost all the stitching on the inside so it doesn't feel very comfortable on the skin and may cause a little irritation while your playing in it. Overall it has decent comfort and I recommend this shirt for anybody who's looking to buy a retro shirt.

For kickoff:  Playing in this shirt is actually quite enjoyable. The fabrics they used were rather light so once you sweat it doesn't weigh down on your skin. You can feel the air coming through the fabrics so it's quite a nice shirt to play in. The shirt also wicks away moisture quite well.

Style: The style of this shirt is really cool. You're sure to stand out with this kit. It has the traditional JVC sponsor. It has the old crest and check out the images.

Now for the new shirt.
Comfort: This jersey has a tight and snug feel and they seemed to have used an stretchy fabric. It wicks away the moisture quite well too.

For kickoff: I must say this shirt is very durable and can last you a long time. It breathes really well and is a good all round shirt. There's not much more to say.

Style: This football shirt was in a revolutionary color for arsenal. No one would have guessed navy blue for the away kit. It's a nice shirt and I think it's one of the best kits ever.

So to conclude my article, if your looking to wear a shirt casually and look good in it go with one of the old ones but to play in a shirt go with the new one.
