I recently received a powerbalance wristband for my birthday. I wore it for the fist time while I was playing football and it felt like it worked. I felt like I had more energy and my dribbling was much improved. After a while it kind of gets old and you really don't feel it. I think that the first few times you wear it your brain thinks its actually helping so in the end you play better.
Here are some tests that the lads at footy-boots did:
